    ... the ASK 13's large blown canopy offers both pilots excellent all-round visibility.
    This two seater replaced Schleicher's Ka 7 in production in 1966. Many hundreds were
    built. The type offers excellent handling characteristics, and the noise level in the
    cockpit is pleasantly low. But when the era of plastic gliders dawned, Schleicher
    ceased production of this aircraft.
